  • Description: Provides support services to teen parents so that they can remain in high school and graduate. The CalSAFE Center at Santa Barbara High School provides services to pregnant teenagers and teenage parents who are enrolled at all area high schools.

    Infant and toddler children are provided with high-quality early education services on the Santa Barbara High School site while teen parents attend high school classes. Both pregnant teens and teen parents are offered assistance with their academic coursework. They also attend prenatal and parenting classes and complete a supervised one-hour lab in the center each day.
